I decided to transfer to UNL because I always was interested in the school and they offered more opportunities for students. After transferring to UNL my freshman year, I was a bit nervous. The campus was larger and the population of students was even greater than that of Chadron. I got over my fear of being at a larger school and started to get involved during my sophomore year. I am so glad I stepped out of my shell and became involved because it has allowed me to meet so many great people and make so many new memories."

College is so wonderful because you can do everything you love and let it take you anywhere you want. Getting involved is more than joining clubs. In fact joining clubs is hardly involvement. Groups or organizations which hold you responsible for something is involvement. Where you have a purpose. To find these - ask! Use your resources, they are there for a reason."
